About these Terms of Use#

These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Metabytes website, including its pages, articles, resources and free tools.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

For the purposes of these terms, “Metabytes”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to WebFi, trading as Metabytes, based at Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

These terms cover the public website only. Services we provide to customers are governed by the separate agreement for that engagement, which takes priority over these terms where the two differ.

Using the website#

You may use the website for lawful purposes, to learn about Metabytes and to use the tools and resources we make available.

You must not:

  • use the website in a way that breaks any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or connected systems;
  • interfere with the website’s operation, security or performance, including by introducing malicious code;
  • use automated means to access, scrape or copy the website or its content at a scale that affects its performance, except as permitted by our robots.txt file;
  • use the website or its tools to create, store or share unlawful, harmful or infringing material; or
  • misrepresent your identity or your connection with any person or organisation.

We may suspend or restrict access to all or part of the website at any time, including for maintenance, security or legal reasons.

Content on the website#

The articles, guides, examples and other content on the website are provided for general information about AI, automation and related topics.

They are not professional, legal, financial, security or technical advice for your specific situation. You should obtain advice suited to your circumstances before acting on any content.

We aim to keep the website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate or up to date at all times.

Case studies, examples and diagrams illustrate how systems can work. Results depend on the organisation, workflow, data and other circumstances, and are not a promise of a particular outcome.

Free tools#

Metabytes may make free tools, assessments and calculators available through the website.

Tool results are estimates or outputs generated from the information you provide. They are intended to support your own thinking and should not be treated as a professional determination or a binding quote unless we expressly say otherwise.

When using a tool:

  • do not enter confidential, sensitive or unnecessary personal data unless the tool specifically requires it;
  • check results before relying on them; and
  • use the tool in line with these terms and any instructions shown in the tool.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any tool at any time.

AI-generated output#

Some tools or features may use artificial intelligence to generate text, classifications, recommendations or other output.

AI-generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing any output before you use or rely on it.

Enquiries and project discussions#

Submitting an enquiry, starting an AI project enquiry or discussing a project with us does not create a contract for services.

Any engagement is subject to a separate written agreement covering the scope, deliverables, fees, confidentiality, data protection and other terms.

Please do not send passwords, credentials, confidential customer data or other highly sensitive information through a website form. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you do send.

Intellectual property#

The website and its content, including text, graphics, diagrams, logos, interface designs and software, are owned by Metabytes or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view the website and print or save extracts for your own non-commercial reference, provided you do not modify them and you keep any copyright or attribution notices.

You must not reproduce, distribute, republish or create derivative works from the website or its content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

The Metabytes name and logo are our trade marks. Other names and logos shown on the website, including those of AI model and platform providers, belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their use does not imply endorsement.

Availability and security#

We work to keep the website available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors, viruses or other harmful components.

You are responsible for using appropriate security measures on your own devices and systems.

Limitation of liability#

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content and tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Metabytes is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, its content or its tools.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Privacy and cookies#

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data, and our Cookie Policy explains how the website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Changes to these Terms of Use#

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the website, our services or applicable legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law#

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country, nothing in these terms affects that right.
